Civic Club students in Grdabani collaborating with the Kindergarten

Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 22 Dec 2013

Civics club students of Gardabani public school #1 found out that local kindergarten has no facilities for showing cartoons for kids. Club members decided to organize cartoon session at kindergarten by using the office equipment which school civic club received from ACETT program as part of the technical equipment competition. With the support from the local municipality and administration of the kindergarten, civic club students made a cartoon showing event for the kids of the kindergarten representing different ethnic groups. Kindergarten staff welcomed and appreciated students’ initiative. Students decided to conduct similar activities in other kindergartens of the region. Initiative was held in the framework of the USAID funded Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program (ACETT), which is implemented by PH International in Georgia.
