Soon after, she became a member of the Civics Teachers Forum, a professional union of civic education teachers and started to be fully engage in the ACETT program. On a regular basis she started to attend trainings and workshops provided by Forum for its member civics teachers. She also received a mini-grant from ACETT program for the project “Strong Self-Governance, Strong School,” which was successfully implemented in March, 2013. In 2013, Ms. Gulordava took part in the open competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and was appointed to the position of the Head of Martvili Regional Education Recourse Center. Her colleagues at Martvili School say that she never stopped seeking improved results and this is the formula of her success. Despite her new appointment, Ms. Gulordava did not leave her teaching post and she still continues to teach civics at her school, in parallel to her daily duties as a Head of the Regional Education Resource Center. She says that she has lots of ideas which she plans to fulfill together with her students. “Through the participation in ACETT program I gained my professional and leadership skills. I am not afraid of new initiatives. In my new position I have already implemented three big projects together with school principals. Good communication and cooperation skills helped me to achieve the set goal”- says Pasha Gulordava.
