Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 4 Oct 2013

On October 1, 2013 Batumi school based civic club students organized meeting dedicated to International Day of Older People. Event was hosted by the Center for Civic Engagement. Meeting was attended by invited 15 beneficiaries from the charity house “Savane”. Students presented key activities they are involved as part of the civic club work. During the discussions guests underlined that new generation is more actively involved in civics activities for the benefit of the community comparing to older generation. In the end of the meeting, civic club members organized small concert by participation of both generations followed by sweet snacks. Meeting was organized in the framework of the Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program (ACETT), which is implemented by PH International in Georgia.
