School Civics clubs students get involved in voluntary work

During the September, civics clubs students of the ACETT program partner schools from city Zugdidi were involved in the voluntary work at Radio Atinati. During this period, Photo contest "I listen to radio Atinati" was initiated by the radio and students were actively involved in promotion of the contest through Facebook and other social media platforms. With the help of student’s number of promotional activities were carried out through which radio Ainati’s Facebook page gained 2,750 new visitors. Organizers of the contest decided to make an award ceremony for the contest winners and as a result special event was help in Ganmukhuri Aqua Park. The administration of the park agreed to allocate entire park territory free of charge for the event. Students have also managed to fundraise for the prizes of the contest winners. Award ceremony of the photo contest winners was held on September 15th. The event was opened by civics clubs students with a creative Flash Mob Show; more than 350 people attended the event. Civics clubs students were awarded with certificates of appreciation by the administration of the Radio Atinati.
