Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 20 Aug 2013

On July 29 – 31, 2013, Bakuriani hosted second Advanced Social Media Camp for school based civics club students. 35 participants from all over Georgia were selected based on their activism and interests in social media. The selected students were alumni of the first phase of basic trainings in social media, offered by ACETT program every year. After the first phase of trainings, each participant is developing personal blogs and maintaining the content of the blog on a regular basis. During 3 days training selected 35 students’ acquainted advanced knowledge and skills in Video Advocacy, Livestreming and Online broadcasting. After each theoretical session, day was followed by practical classes in video / documentary production. As a result number of short videos was made by the groups of students. At the end of the camp all participants received certificates. Advanced Social Media Camp was organized for the second time, in the framework of the Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program (ACETT), implemented by PH International in Georgia.
