"From business ideas to your own venture" - by training with the same name 27 college graduates in Rivne have mastered the steps for starting their own business. Trainers of the IDEA Center in Rivne participating in IDEA Project Powered by Microsoft YouthSpark helped the youth to understand their responsibilities when considering starting a business, talked about business planning, relationships with regulatory authorities, and legal principles of business activities.

Telavi Media-Lab produced second short film. This time lab members focused on the subject of addiction, namely: internet-addiction, drug-addiction, gambling.
The Lab held premiere of the film at Telavi movie-theater on March 10. The members showcased the film to peers.

On March 7-8, a workshop was held in the frames of GE CALLs Program among eleven mediators involved in the Diversion And Mediation program, prosecutor and a social worker. The goal of the meeting was to increase their professional mediation skills and to foster the coordination among the professionals. The session was led by the psychologist and an expert in mediation – Jana Javakhishvili. The meeting was held in the Center of Crime Prevention of Georgia.

On March 7, Eco-Club under Akhaltsikhe Youth Center held an event about waste management. The event aimed at raising awareness about ecological problems among community and develop an action plan for solving them

On March 9 Khashuri Youth Club organized a marathon to promote healthy lifestyle in their city.
Marathon started at Kashuri Library. During approximately 1.5 hour participants covered several densely populated street of the city and distributed flyers promoting healthy lifestyle in youth.

To improve parental engagement in the school life, Ge CALLS participants Khashuri school #8 have created a Mothers Club, that is completed by one parent from each class of the entire school. The goal of the club is to facilitate regular communication and plan effective activities and interventions from parents.

Members of disciplinary committees of the participant schools were retrained by their school principles who have attended GE CALLS training - “Social Justice and Discipline at School”.

Using the written and video materials from the training, principles and the committee members revisited the legal and administrative aspects, as well as the goals, structure and the functions of the committee. In some cases changes were made to the action plans of the Committee. New cases were handled in the light of the new approaches gained on the trainings.

On February 28, Legal Club under Akhaltsikhe Youth Center held an event named Bullying – Ordinary Teasing or Standard Felony.
The event was attended by the principals of two public schools, teachers and SROs of other schools, representatives of local social agency, school students and representatives of PH International.

The Institute for War and Peace Reporting has met with key implementers of juvenile justice programs in Armenia and discussed the role and the value of the Community Justice Centers established in the country by PH International and later by the Fund for Armenian Relief.

On February 20 ACETT students hosted photo exhibition for media at Sheraton Metekhi Palace in Tbilisi. Journalists got first-hand information about students’ civic initiatives and successes. For young citizens, this was a good chance to interact with media and promote the work that they have been doing voluntarily to benefit their schools and communities.
