On October 28-30 similar training was conducted for teachers and law enforcement officers from Samtskhe-Javakheti region, Georgian and Armenian schools. The training brought together seven police officers and 10 teachers from Akhaltsikhe, Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda. The training was delivered by the GLSP experts – Giorgi Gakheladze, and Elguja Makalatia, who are the authors of the GLSP Manual “Legal Culture”.

The program staff and experts tried to simplify the training program and make it more accessible for participants. They were introduced to effective teaching methodologies and principles of teamwork to ensure maximum effectiveness of the lessons.

Dynamic format of the training appeared to be very efficient. According to the participants, such trainings not only offer them new expertise, but also promote trust and cooperation between schools and police office, which can be very important for juvenile crime prevention in the long run.
