Tbilisi schools end of semester event

On January 18, 2017 Tbilisi Didube Plaza conference hall hosted students from Tbilisi partner schools of civics education Momavlis Taoba program. Students presented projects carried out for the benefit of their schools and communities. Exhibition of posters reflecting the work of students was presented as well.

Students implemented projects covering the topics, such as human rights, bullying, anti- smoking and healthy lifestyle, human trafficking, environmental protection, road safety, protection of Georgian language from misuse, care of elderly people and other.  

The guests of the event were welcomed by Ms. Lia Gigauri, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Ms. Monica Azimi, USAID Democracy, Governance and Social Development Office Director and Ms. Marina Ushveridze, Chief of Party of Civic Education “Momavlis Taoba” Program.  

USAID funded Momavlis Taoba program is implemented by PH International and supported by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
