Workshop for Students in Essay Writing
An essay writing workshop for the students of MT program partner schools was held in Ateni Gorge. The workshop was facilitated by the journalist Nino Chibchiuri. Nino was a participant in an essay contest in Egypt and her essay on the topic “Religion and Democracy” was one of the best.
After the theoretical part, the students wrote essays on the issues “Me - An Active Citizen” and “My Role In Civic and School Life.”
 At the end of the workshop, the students read their essays, took part in discussions and got comments and recommendations from the facilitator. The author of the best essay was also awarded a prize.
More than 20 students from Gori schools took part in the workshop.
