Students of Abasha public school #1 decided to renovate a school gym in the framework of MT mini-grant project “Our choice is healthy lifestyle”. Students, parents and teachers took part in the cleaning action. Students met with representatives of Abasha Municipality and school alumni to get additional money for gym rehabilitation. Abasha municipality donated 1,000 Gel for changing the floor, local entrepreneur provided necessary equipment and inventory, alumni donated up to 200 GEL worth of sports inventory and school administration purchased balls with total value in the amount of 130 Gel. 

To promote healthy lifestyle in the community, students and school administration organized sports competitions. Students are eager to carry out sports competitions and involve their peers from neighboring schools as well.

The mini-grant project was carried out  in the framework of the USAID-funded "Momavlis Taoba" program, which is implemented by PH International.
