Students of Khashuri Municipality's Vaka village public school initiated an event to promote a healthy lifestyle in their village and to arrange outdoor exercise equipment in the school yard. Once the village was well known for its famous wrestlers, but unfortunately now young people are less involved in sport.

The students' initiative was supported by community members and they provided 560 lari worth of construction materials. After the construction of outdoor exercise equipment in the school yard, the students organized a sports competition with the participation of their peers from neighbor villages Ali, Gomi and Nabakhtevi public schools.
