US Ambassador and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Participate in Living Library

On March 23, another Living Library was held in the framework of GE CALLS Program – this time it was hosted by the Georgian National Gallery and featured two special “books” – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Archil Talakvadze and The US Ambassador to Georgia, Mr. Ian Kelly, who shared interesting stories about their career and life with students of Tbilisi public schools.

The Library also hosted other books: police officer, social worker, prosecutor, criminal expert, medical expert, former convict and youth worker.

The event was attended by representatives of The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau and The US Embassy in Tbilisi.

The Living Library was held in the framework of GE CALLS-funded project Step Forward – The Academy of Success 2, implemented by the Non-Formal Education Youth Center Sunny House, supported by The US Department of State’s International Bureau of Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL).
