Bela Tumasova
IT for Youth Program Coordinator

Bela Tumasova joined PH International in July 2010 as a Community Connections program coordinator. Bela’s primary responsibilities at the time included program participant recruitment and preparing candidates for short-term internships in the U.S. She also coordinated the translation of all program documents including success stories, participant applications and reports.

In 2012, Bela became the program coordinator for the Microsoft funded IT for Youth project. Bela coordinates the project’s day to day activities, researches regional needs, works closely with regional coordinators to streamline reporting and ensure they are constantly supported, consults with project partners and regional coordinators to overcome challenges, drafts agreements with partner organizations to clearly state targets and outcomes, and works closely with the IT for Youth Program Manager (PM) to ensure the program always remains on track and exceeds implementation plans. This includes working with the PM to write quarterly progress reports, draft annual project proposals, and translate reports and informational materials to share the project’s success with the IT global community.

Bela graduated with honors from the Department of Foreign Languages of Osh State University, Kyrgyz Republic and later from Moscow State Social University. In her free time, Bela loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, dancing and theatre. Travelling and taking pictures is another passion, making her life more interesting and enlightening.
