03.03.2013 | Access program students in Zugdidi devote an Enrichment Activity to Mother’s Day celebration

On March 3, Access program students in Zugdidi, devoted an Enrichment Activity to Mother’s Day celebration. The session was aimed to enrich awareness of an American culture among participants and boos their confidence in expressing themselves in writing as well as orally. During the evening, participants worked individually and in pairs to take part in different activities. They drew parallels and discussed similarities and differences in Georgian and American cultures. At the end of the session, students devoted letters to their mothers, created and presented special greeting cards for the occasion.

““I really stood proud looking at my students; it was amazing to observe how confident they have become in less than a year of being in Access Program”- said Access program teacher in Zugdidi Nana Kikalishvili. “Progress they show is not only about speaking English more fluently, but also about expanding their range of interests.”-she added.
